Why the Security of USB Is Fundamentally Broken

As a computer user, I take USB for granted. I use it to transfer and back up files, to download pictures from my camera, and to connect devices like my iPod and iPad. It’s long been known that if you don’t have safe practices, USB is common vector for viruses. This article in Wired Magazine demonstrates that by hacking the code on a USB key, your whole computer can be high jacked. There’s a bit of debate about this as you can read in the comment section, but it’s just another example of how Valt.x is the only product that protects your computer against all current and future threats, like this USB exploit.
